Home decor - part 2

Okay so I have narrowed down my choice to these two colors. Grey or Beige. My furniture is cappuccino, carpet white. Forget the dark brown on the extreme right (don't know what was I thinking). This is basically the feature wall. The other three walls will be a lighter shade of whichever color I choose. I might tone down the grey to a lighter shade, this one seems a little too dark. But which one do you think would go better with my furniture?

  • Gray with earth toned furniture is a big no-no. You might be able to get away with a light gray. Stay within the family of colors. The beige color is the best, but as a suggestion, I'd also consider a warmer or slighlty lighter earth tone color, such as butterscotch color, because your furniture color is dark. Stenciled patterns or vinyl decal art on that accent wall is also something that would give more composition to that wall.

  • The middle and I'd do a larger test square near the furniture to be sure.

  • Definitely the beige, much warmer. I have Ralph Lauren Muslin in my Bedroom. It's a lighter beige.
