Do you like green salads?

i used to hate them, i would literally gag sometimes when i ate them. then i started eating the "fattier" salads, like ceasar, and now i cant get enough of a yummy green salad. im eating one now as a snack. granted, i put ranch on it but its gotta be healthier still than chips or cookies.

  • I love salads, as long as it has the right stuff in it. Bell peppers, red onions, celery and lettuce of course. I even use the ranch spray which is only like 10 calories per spray. Makes it a great and healthy snack. I keep a big salad in my fridge all the time.

  • Yes. I can't eat them without SOME kind of dressing if that's what you mean lol. I prefer some kind of vinaigrette. I don't like ranch or ceasar on salad.

  • i just buy the bagged ready to eat kind, usually american or classic. it has everything i like in it, and then i add the dressing myself. the only downside is no matter how i store it after i open it, the lettuce rusts within 1-2 days.

  • i like certain green salads. i hate the salads that are just whitish green pieces of hard crunchy watery stems...blah!

  • Salads are healthy, but be careful when you add dressing, as well as cheese, bacon, and all sorts of other stuff. You can really raise the fat content. When I had my gallbladder trouble, the surgeon warned me to stay away from stoked-up salads because the dressing would kick off an attack with its high fat content.

    That being said, I love green salads, especially with spinach and nuts and dried cranberries. I like lots of stuff on them--sunflower seeds, aocado, olives, cucumbers, mushrooms, egg--sometimes I go to Pizza Hut or Sweet Tomatoes just for the salad bar.
