  • Some kids are just more prone to illness than others. Be grateful yours has a strong immune system.  Now, go knock on some wood just to be safe! :p

  • My 2 yo and 4 yo's have each been sick one time. My oldest, now 15, had recurrent ear infections. Different immune systems.

  • Chances are that your SIL's baby sees more kids than yours does :) Is s/he in daycare by any chance?

Be grateful for this quiet time because as soon as your son finds himself in with others (playgroup, school, daycare) he's going to catch all of the things he missed out on when he was younger (lol)

  • Be really happy you have a child that is not sick all the time. But like others have said. If your child is not around a lot of other kids. He will not get sick as often.
