Did you know age 26 is not the cut off for all forms of medical coverage?!

We were just unpleasantly surprised to find out that our son, who turned 23 in Aug., was cut off from the dental & vision part of our coverage as of Jan. 1st. The letter they sent was dated Jan. 11th. It's a bunch of crap if you ask me! (Luckily he was just at the eye Dr. on 12/28!)

  • Technically Dental and Eye aren't "medical".

  • Is he a student?

  • No- he is my developmentally delayed child & we are appealing it due to his disability. We were originally told he'd be covered for life, since I am also his legal guardian.
