How old are your bath towels?

How often do you buy new? Are you picky about what type you buy or use?

  • Old. I think it's been years. They are fluffy and okay. Plus I took my dads after he died.

  • Let's see, they must be about 12 years old, maybe more. It's our second set. They've lasted forever. Our first set was crappy quality (I bought them when I was 17 years old) and they were small and thin. These are thick and bigger.

  • I don't know how old they are. When they start getting raggedy I toss them and buy new ones, which is why they don't all match. :)

  • Variety - some are about a year old, some are 12 years old. Usually every year we add just a couple, and usually every year a couple of the oldest get turned to some sort of rags. I've never bought whole sets at once - just a couple towels here & there or a multi-pack of washcloths. My mom, if she gifts towels, will do full sets.

  • I have done that see 12 years old, but have bought new ones here and there through the years. We see color coordinated every person in the house has a color. Started that when kids were little so no germs, sharing towels. Then it became so I could tell who left the wet towel where.
