Have you ever had a ring re-sized?

how much did it cost and how long did it take?

my wedding band is starting to get too big and im afraid that the more weight i lose it might slide off without me noticing. its always spinning around on my finger, driving me nuts.

  • It's never cost anything when I've had it done through the same place it was bought. I've never resized one from anywhere else. 1-2 weeks is how long mine always took.

  • Only once but, it was were the ring was purchased. I can't imagine it would be that costly.

  • First if you think you are going to continue to lose I would wait until you are pretty sure you are done losing so it doesn't have to be done twice. In the meantime I would buy those ring sizer things from Wal-mart (plastic things that go on your ring) to make sure you don't lose it. I have had mine done and because we no longer live where we bought it and it was a small town jeweler not a national chain the charged me $30 and it took a couple days.

  • Yeah, but like a lot of others I got it done where it was purchased from and it was free. It took 3 days to get back.
