Donation question

Dh managed to tear the sheets on the bed (I still don't know how he did it!)

We got new ones but I feel bad just tossing the old. I don't know of any uses for them. The hole is right in the middle of the fitted. Should I donate them? Should I donate just the regular sheet and toss the fitted? Should I just toss the whole set?

What do you think is best?

  • If you cannot sew it up don't donate it.

  • Toss it all.

  • I'd donate the one that isn't torn if it is a color that would match well with others.

  • toss the fitted one and just hang on to the other one, you never know when you'll need an extra sheet for something! I got rid of a bunch of old sheets/pillow cases and a few blankets several months ago and then now that our temps have been dropping down so low I was scrambling to find old blankets to put over our doors at night to keep out some of the chill :P I hate storing them but sometimes it really is good to have extras!

  • You can also cut it up for garage rags.

  • Id cut it up and save it. Old sheets can be great for bandages and all sorts of things...
