What are your comforts for sick kids?

Just making a list. What do you do for your sick kids? Anything really special?

  • Icecream or popsicles for a sore throat, lots of quiet movie time, ginger ale for an upset stomach, vaporizer with vicks for congestion.

  • I always made mine jello, and had fruit juice popsicles, ginger ale. I'd make them a little nest on the sofa with blankets and pillows so they could be at least in the same room as the rest of the family, if they felt well enough. I changed their bed every day so they'd have fresh sheets. If they had a fever I'd bathe their heads with a cool damp cloth.

  • I gave my son a bath when he was sick because it helped break out all of the mucus in his nose and he seemed to breathe better.
