  • 6 and 9 would be considered addends. They are what equal 15. So it could be 14 and 1, or 11 and 4, etc.... It can also be negative numbers.

  • Addends are where you have numbers that add up to a specific number. For example, 7 + 3 are addends of 10, as are 6 + 4, 8 + 2, and so on.
