I have a BEAUTIFUL Ragdoll/maine coone mixed breed (rescue) cat. I love her so much and I've had her for almost 2 years. I got my husband a kitten not too long ago and she was irritated (like) most cats get when introducing someone in the home. I also have a dog (whom she loves) but ever since I got the kitten she will have nothing to do with ANYONE she actually lashed out and scratched my face last night! She has just recently went to the vet up to date on all shots, de-wormed, spayed ect. I've never seen a cat act this way. It's only been about a week. Should I just wait a little longer?Answer Question

Give her time. So e cats are territorial and feel really nervous when a new pet comes into the picture. Things will improve.
