What kind of blender would you recommend?

I am wanting to start doing some smoothies so I can get my son and myself to get more veggie/fruit intake.

I don't want something that is going to blow the top off the house from being so loud but, I want something powerful enough to make sure that there aren't any huge pieces left over.

What would you recommend?? Did you get it from a regular store, online, as seen on tv??

thanks!! :0)

  • I got a cheap one at Wal-Mart for smoothies - it's sooooo much better than my more expensive blender as far as smoothies go! I don't remember the brand, but it has an option spiggot thing you can turn onto the front for dispensing. For being a $20 it has outlasted and outshines my other blenders!
