How so? It's been celebrated for years already around the world - it's already an international event. A lot of schools use it as a history lesson.

oh dude! it would give me an excuse to wear my pirate costume! wait...would it be a day off kinda holiday? cause it would be a great in-school day, teach about pirates (history teacher) wear my costume, talk like that all day...heck yes im all for that!
