I have gotten in a rut with cooking. I would love to take a cooking class. Have you ever taken a cooking class? If so what kind? If not, would you like to?

  • I love to cook too, and I like to experiment, but I'm terrible with knives. I'd love to learn to use a knife correctly.

  • Since my kids came along and became relatively picky eaters, I don't enjoy cooking for just half the family. I've considered cooking classes but they are really very pricey around here. I would be interested in food that really tastes good without all the butter in it. That said, I love butter, croissants, pie, bakery stuff...but I do stay away from it to avoid the extra ten pounds!

  • Yes, I have taken a few cooking classes through Groupon with friends, they often give a discount if you get a few people together for the class, so about $20 a person. They are so much fun!

  • I'd like to but they just aren't offered around here.

  • Yes I have taken several one evening cooking classes. They focus one multi course meal or just a few dishes in a cuisine...we help prepare then eat !!! I have taken Asian ...dumplings steamed and fried ,tasted good but very sad looking spring rolls ,chicken satay ,Mu Shu anyway a few more like those two.One of my closest friends and I take them...lots of fun.

I not sure I would take a generalized course unless I went to a culinary school for a certificate or degree...I haven't any desire how to cut up large pieces of meat ,fowl or pork.

My husband and sons always field dress anything they hunt.

  • My husband is a trained chef, I could get cooking lessons everyday, lol!  I actually think I'm a better cook than he is.  He is better at baking.
