What would you do if this "what if" senerio actually happened?

This is going to be a weird question but i think its fun to talk about. Here is the layout: A zombie apocalypse is starting to occur and you at home with your child (children) and you husband (boyfriend) is at work. You do have a car but it only has a quarter of a tank of gas. Luckily your not in the city, yet you are right outside of it, you don't live around a lot of people but its enough to wear when you look outside you can see them all running around going crazy. We all know that zombies are people who have "died" yet can still get around and basically just want to eat human brains....and flesh lol. What would you do? would you run? try to hide? go seek shelter? How would you protect your children, lets say you don't have a gun but finding a household item to use as a weapon is easy. Lets say you don't have a storm shelter (or a basement) to hide in.

I'd take my kids and go to a secluded part of the world where there are no people, as that is what attracts the zombies.

Atic! We have a atic that you can pull up the stairs. So for a while I would gather the kids and food, water, bedding, cloths and weapons up in the atic. I would hope only tell my DH comes home.
