Have you ever done a self defence for women course, do you think it helped you in any way?

I have seen some rather expensive coures but found the free and simpleones provided by women's centres to be very good. I found I was more confident afterwards. Whether or not I would be able to fend off an attacker is another matter.

  • I forgot to answer the second half of the question. I would say that the most useful things I have learned are how to free myself from almost any grab without much effort or strength, and how to easily break a knee or nose. I would say I am capable of defending myself against someone who is bigger and stronger than I am.
