When you see....

A teenage girl and a baby/toddler, how do you react?

Do you automatically assume this is her child and react to your feelings on teen moms? Or do you think that she could be a big sister, babysitter, or nanny?

  • It depends, sometimes yes and others no, but now a days its pretty common to see lots of young and teen moms so I guess it no different then when I see an 'older' woman with kids also

  • Yes, teen moms are common now, but aren't blended families common also? Many are on their 2nd marriages.

I had an incident with a nasty woman and my two daughters today at Target and I was curious how others think in this situation.

  • Well I know when I was pregnant with my DD I was only 18 and I constantly got dirty looks from people it used to tick me of so bad, not to mention embarrass me, but with my second and six years later I was almost shocked with how many more much younger women were at the doctors with me and walking around pregnant, but that doesn't call for people being nasty

  • I don't think anything either way - I have a teenage niece with a baby, and she has 7 teenage sisters & cousins who fight over babysitting duties. Unless you know them, you don't know which one it is pushing the baby in the stroller.
