  • Yes. I was invited to both Clinton Inaugurations. It is one of the highlights of my life. I worked for the campaign and attended two of the Balls. It was so much fun. It was something to witness History up close. Many tear inducing moments. I loved every minute of it. I have the invitations and photos framed and hanging in my library/office here in my home.

  • i would if i could be on the stage...i couldnt handle that kinda crowd. and the events seems foolish imo. id understand a dinner for all the new ppl & their families, but several different events/concerts...do that on your own dime.

  • Never have and never will. I don't want to. I might have wanted to attend Abraham Lincoln's--but not for the pomp and asshattery!

  • LOL. There are plenty of those set up all over- and dumpsters?? on many street corners. Obamas 1st inauguration, there were plenty of armed national guards on each corner. It was a spooky sight.

I worked both inaugural galas for Clinton. I was at the bar right outside the press room. They tipped almost as well as fans at a Grateful Dead concert. (too stoned to count their change back ;)
Closest I got to meeting celebs was Aretha Franklins hairdresser on popcorn and hotdog runs. It was interesting to see all the security preps and rehearsals though
