Can I ovulate

After going through menopause?

Sometimes I think I am and I was just wondering if any other moms experienced this. Don't be mean either!

  • No. Your eggs are rotten, past their expiration date. The hot flashes have fried them.

  • Yanno, your OB/GYN would know more about this than we would.
They would be able to test your hormone levels and determine if your estrogen levels have dropped.
They would also be able to do an ultrasound and review a sonogram to determine if your ovaries are healthy and active.

Or you could just pee on your keyboard, at least that's how "We" confirm pregnancy. Should work for ovulation.

  • Are you qualified to insult the intelligence of others when you don't know how female reproduction works?

  • menopause literally means "end of monthly cycles". your monthly cycle includes ovulation, if you dont ovulate you dont have a period. so if you've havent had a period for over a year, your arent ovulating. is it possible that you havent completed menopause?

also, men never naturally stop making sperm. their testicles continue to make sperm for life while women only have a certain number of eggs, when those are gone we go thru menopause.
