Name Opinion

What do you think of the name Tarran for a boy? We are thinking of Tarran Alexander. DH wants to go back to his roots for the names, and this is the only one that seems somewhat doable for me.

  • Honestly, I'm not a fan. It's by far not the worst I've heard of but, not something I'd ever use.

  • It's not bad. I might spell it differently. Maybe Terren. Tarran for some reason reminds me of Tarzan.

  • My concern is the fact that Taryn is a girls name and I just don't know . . . why do boys' names have to be so flipping difficult?

  • Also, I went to school with a girl named Taryn. I like that spelling, but it is pretty girly.

  • Do you think the one r makes it look too girly.

    I really don't want a teenage/tween son to hate his name : (
