  • BIG government and greedy power hungry politicians who make decisions based on their wallets and not on the people of this country.

  • Not teaching our young to be self sufficient, having too much too soon! I grew up with one TV and one dial phone in the house, we have become a bunch of soft give me more kind of country, and we need our backbone back!

  • The biggest threat to the US and Candian economy is free trade which took the manufacturing jobs and placed them overseas. The economy cannot survive on the export of natural resources alone, it needs diversity to survive.

YEP! And now we are offshoring technical, customer service, and other entry level positions creating a wider and wider gap between the classes.

  • The debt. If we don't get it under control we are going to start defaulting on our loans...that will mean can't borrow money unless it is at a high interest rate...if at all....the value of the dollar will plummet...banks and businesses will crash...the govt won't be able to pay for things like Soc Sec, Medicare, and any form of PA.....they won't be able to pay govt employees...including our military.

Outsourcing is nothing compared to our debt.

  • IMO, the biggest threat is reckless runaway spending and economic uncertainty. As for gridlock, I think it has only slowed the massive hemorrhaging.
