Matress toppers

I am looking to buy one when I get my income tax in. I can't afford to get a whole new bed so I want something to put on top of it. I have a topper now, but it's so worn out... lol

Also, I don't want anything that is going to be too hot because I won't be able to sleep.

any recommendations?

  • They sell the cool gel/memory foam mattress toppers at Costco for great prices. If you're not a Costco member, I'm sure you can find them on Amazon, or maybe even Walmart.

  • Does overstock have ratings? I love the ratings on Amazon, they help a lot. I've been wanting to get one too sooooo bad!

  • Memory foam is great! I have pain in my hips on our regular mattress, but with the memory foam I sleep great with no pain. I think we paid around $130 for a king size at Sam's Club.

  • anesthetic... yes they had ratings. As I was going through them they had a lot of customers that were very pleased with the gel/memory types. I am leaning towards one of those I think. I want to sleep well and lord knows I haven't in a LONNNNG time!! :0)

  • I get mine from Mr.Foam or something like that on Ebay. I have bought five or six from them. I went overboard one time and bought one so thick that we couldn't rollover at all. I ended up giving it to my parents because they had been wanting one, they had the same issue, they couldn't rollover. It's funny thinking about it, we used to have to rock a little back and forth to gain momentum haha.

  • You may want to check with 211 and see if they have a Furniture Bank near you. You can get a brand new bed for a very good price. $60 for full-size
