When you switched from a SAHM to a working mom...

i am currently looking for a job. i am sure i want do be on a job and i have to work on account of financial reasons, but what it means is having less time for my family and all kinds of jobs around the house. i have got 2 children under 4y. to feel better about my decision ---

what was the hardest to think of when you undertook your job? how did you manage? do you have any good tips to share? thanks

  • Remember you can't do it all. Some nights you're going to opt for pizza instead of a home-cooked meal,and that's okay. Some days, or occasionally weeks, your carpets won't get vacuumed, and that's okay. Unless there's a real mess to deal with or you can't make your way from one end of your house to the other without the song "Crawling From the Wreckage" coming to mind, always choose a game or a pillow fight with your kids over dusting.

  • Hardest thing for me is trying to keep up with house work and cooking.. All of that is overwhelming when you just want to be home, relaxing.
