Son: Mom, just out of curiosity, what's so important about a soda?
Me: (sigh) Nothing really, it's the principle of it.
Yep, I got schooled by my 9 year old. A couple days ago I put a Mt. Dew in the fridge to get cold. Yesterday I went to grab it and it was missing. My husband drank it. He thought it had been sitting around for too long and was fair game. So, he took it and drank it and didn't think much about it. I've been whining about it since.
Darn that kid sometimes. But, on the better side: This shows that they're learning what's really important in life, and a stupid soda isn't important.
