My family has money but I still don't agree with them.
How about you, did you sign one?
why why not?

  • Yes, I believe in pre- nups.

  • There are many good reasons for having one, and financially protecting children from previous marriages is a major one.

  • I would if I was a multi-millionnaire. But, I don't think they're necessary for most people.

  •  im a freaking teacher

A teacher that works in a school or a daycare worker/teacher? It sounds like your grandmother has a good head on her shoulders. Too bad she couldn't pass that along to you.

  • My parents wanted my ex to sign one but I didn't make him. I wish I had!

  • If either of us had anything going into the marriage I think it would be smart to cover yourself. But we were both 19, he had a car I had nothing. There was no reason for a prenup ha.

If you don't believe in the renup thats ok, but if you get divorced don't be surprised when he gets half of your money.

  • Lizzy, keep your chin up and ignore the snarky ones. You don't have to explain yourself to anybody.

  • For a first marriage no. If you have kids from the first marriage, then I think yes.

  • Nope. We were broke and broke-er when we got married. We did it for love. We were stupid.
