  • Yes, I've been growing a garden every year for about 6 years. Every year it is different, but my staples are tomatos, cherry tomatos, peppers, jalapenos, and cumcumbers. This year I am going to do squash, I have have before but it grows so easily in my area. And My son wants watermelon, just have to be careful it doesn't take ove the yard. And he has a planter with strawberries. I also like to grow some herbs and sprinkle mint in my lawn so when i mow the yard the mint smells delicious! My fave thing to grow is cherry tomtos and cucumbers. Last year I woke up to the smell of cukes and thought my husband had sprayed the hosue with a cucumber air frenshener, turned out he had just gotten a couple cukes off the vien and had sliced them up to munch on. They were so fragrant! I can't wait to garden this year!

  • We only grow tomatoes, our lot is fairly wooded except for the swingset and trampoline! My in laws keep us well supplied with vegetables all summer long.

  • Yes. Tomatoes and carrots are my favorites because they're the easiest things here (but not at the same time). We also have grapes, figs, cherries, apricots, hazlenuts, walnuts and pomegranates but they're pretty eternal and take no effort so I don't really feel that I can say I "grow" them!

  • I don't have a yard anymore, but I do plan on planting some tomatoes. I'll just have to stick them into 5 gallon buckets and do it that way rather than stick them in the ground.

  • I did in Wisconsin. A nice thriving tomato and pepper in a box garden. I'm not familiar with the climate here.

  • Always do! Don't really have a favorite thing, but a few things that we have to have every year are green beans, sweet corn, potatoes, and lettuce.

  • I miss having a garden, but I'm in a townhouse now. I liked growing cucumbers, summer and fall squash, tomatoes, strawberries, and rhubarb.

  • I couldn't grow anything here. I live in the desert. There are water restrictions, the dirt sucks. I have plastic grass.
