4 Bumps

When you are out with your child in public, stores etc...

are you really laid back or do you keep your child right next to you close?

my babies are always right next to me....too many bad things hapeniong to kids and within a split second they can be gone, so scary.

    plan ahead for autism meltdown from sensory overloads
    and have left store with cart full of groceries more than once
    *yes, i am the mom with the kids who seems to be having a tantrum...nope SPD overload
    ** thank you to the one person, who opened the door for me, last year, appreciated more than you can imagination, hard to hold a child, keeping her from harming herself AND opening a door


    *** for the anon the other night who thinks autism is a made up condition because the federal government likes to make money from meds

  • He gets to roam within a few feet of me. At 3-1/2 he's not always the best at keeping his hands to himself and I like to minimize the damage he can do.

  • My kids are a bit older so I don't keep them right next to me at all times, but I damn sure keep them in line at all times.

  • I keep my daughter, who is four, very close to me in public unless there's someone with me who can watch her at a park or the like. My teenage stepson has more freedom, obviously.

  • My kids are 7 and 9 and I am ridiculously paranoid about this. I want them right in front of me. I have heard too many horror stories.
