Aunt Nicknames

I am about to be an aunt for the first time. I do not like the sound of Aunt Samantha/sam/or sammy. i kind if want more of a unique nickname that includes the word aunt and i cannot think of anything. if anyone can give me any cute suggestions id greatly appreciate it! =)

  • My nephew called me Auntie Tawna(he could pronounce Tonya), but then shortly after he dropped the Tawna and just calls me Auntie - even now that he is 25, I am still just Auntie - to him and his two children! :-)

  • My son calls my husband's sisters Tante (tahn-tuh), the German word for aunt. My sisters he calls Auntie.

  • You could just wait and see how they pronounce it. My kids couldn't say "aunt Emily", it can out "mimmy" so that's still what they call her
