What to look for in a rheumatologist?

The rheumatologist I have now came very highly recommended by the pain management specialist I was seeing, and she has lived up to her recommendation beautifully. Unfortunately, she's retiring. Does anybody have a rheumatologist? What do I need to look for in a new one? What questions might I ask? What should I avoid?

  • Your pain doc it your best bet, unless she is referring her patients to someone else? I would go there if she suggest them, they would know her treatment style etc..
