Book suggestions

My 11 year old hates to read, so I'm trying to find something to peak his interest. Those of you with boys this age, what are they enjoying to read? We've pretty much exhausted the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

  • My son is 12 he is in a book club at school. He loved all the Whimpy kid books. He just finished reading The Face On The Milk Carton by Janie Johnson. He said it was very good. My other son who is 10 likes the Middle School books by James Patterson.

  • Took me a minute to remember Schooled by Gordon Korman. My 10 year old couldn't put it down, which is rare. He has to read 20 minutes for homework every night. He would read for much longer.

  • I know it is mostly about girls but have you tried any Judy Blume books? I also got my son into the Hardy Boys, I know it is old school. but they have pretty good stories!
