1 Bump

2 months after delivering my baby and...

My joints are still weak and popping?

How long is this supposed to last? I know the pregnancy hormones loosened everything up for birth, but I have been trying to get back into exercise and my ankles, knees and wrists are popping and freezing up on me. Leaving me unable to do exercise moves and in pain on the floor.

BOO!

  • I feel old too. I'm mid 20s. Not ready for arthritis and going up the stairs gently. I just want to RUN!

(I ran a few weeks ago and my knees KILLED for days)

  • Maybe you need more potassium. Are you still taking Prenatal Vitamins? I had my last at 44 & I didn't have that. At least I don't remember, it was last year. Oh wait.....memory loss associated with age....never mind. LOL!

  • Are you breast feeding? That *can* cause the release of those same joint loosening hormones.

  • my hips ached for over a year & still do off & on from delivering 2 almost 9 pound chubbsters...it takes time, much more then 2 months...don't injure yourself trying too much.....your body is still getting over carrying all that extra weight and all the shifting it has gone through.
