I am just curious... How many moms on here have children with any kind of special needs?

Maybe it is just the people I happen to see and interact with the most here or something but it seems like a whole lot of the the moms here have special needs children... myself included.

  • I guess for those who don't know-
    I have an 8 year old son who has Asperger's w/ tendencies towards ADHD, ODD and Childhood Anxiety.
    and he has been having a rough year... :0(

  • My aspie is 18. Yeah, I cried a lot. Things are a lot better now. If you want to hear a success story, He was offered 5 scholorships and is in college 2000 miles away from home, and he is thriving

  • Depends on what you mean. My daughter was hearing impaired before her surgery.

    My grandson has ADHD.
    No we hav never asked for benefits or help to raise them.
