Feeling moody

I just feel really irritable and have felt this way for a long time, have zero sex drive. Could it be a hormone imbalance? I'm 39 if that helps.
Also get really angry at the husband because he's been drinking a lot lately and it just rubs me raw. I don't drink, smoke,or do anything that takes money out of my kids mouth, and
I'm trying to set an example.

  • Probably hormonal. But check with your doctor.

  • Sounds like a combo.
If you and hubs are living different lifestyles it can definitely lead to frustration and depression.
But- if you are angry all the time you may want to consider talking to a doc.

The sex drive may be a result of the frustration and hubs actions.
    Have you considered therapy?

  • I would love therapy but I have no money for that.

  • "I" would call 211 and ask for therapists with a sliding fee
If they don't have the info then I would call therapists recommended and tell them that I needed help finding one with a sliding fee.

I have been able to find pros who offer counseling for less than $20.
A therapist is better able to know whether you need meds and exactly what meds you may need than a GP.

  • May be Thyroid & also aggravation from daily life. I can relate. A simple blood test including thyroid function can set your mind at ease. GL! :)

  • It sounds like you are frustrated with your husband. And, that stress is making you irritable.  Also, it's hard to have a sex drive when you are upset with your partner.
