  • typing is still taught it is called keyboarding
home ec is also offered but it is (at least in my area) more extensive than what was taught in the early 80's

i know that the school paper has changed from the way it was taught before digital...but i dont know anything that isnt offered anymore.

my mom took book keeping in the 60's- do they still do that?

  • I took Home Ec in Jr. High, and didn't do well, so I didn't take it in high school....but they don't offer it anymore here.

Ironically, home ec was one of my worst subjects, and I later became a food columnist for a newspaper and a magazine, and a photo shoot cook, and now, I manage a little sewing store and teach lessons.
