Would you let your daughter go with grandma after....

I had my daughters 5th birthday party on Saturday. She's 5 today. Well the party just started and everyone was arriving we were just waiting for one last car to come . Well we started taking pictures (as most people do at parties) and my mother got upset about taking her picture "without her permission" and got up and stormed out didn't even bother putting her shoes on to go out in the snow. She left.
Then she calls me later on telling me she won't be coming to my sons 3rd birthday party in April. Then says to me I want to come get my granddaughter and take her out to lunch on her birthday (today).

Would you let your child go today after all this?

Hell no. They is fucked up to do to her granddaughter and now her grandson. If she wants to be a bitch let her. Picture taking is expected at parties. What the hell is her malfunction?

No. I wouldn't want my kids with her. She doesn't sound stable.

How old is grandma? I'd be concerned for her mental/medical condition if she can snap over something as simple as picture taking. Try finding out. I'd hate to have gotten mad at my parents for something they did only to find out it wasn't something they could control. My own grandmother used to tell us the same story's 100's of times. Couldn't help it. Still loved her.

I'd offer to meet grandma for lunch with dd. Let her know that you'll sit at the counter while they eat so they can have some time together but then you have to take her somewhere else right after.

Does your mother usually freak out like this? I would sure ask her what the deal was, and perhaps offer to meet up with her, but as far as kiddo going alone with her, I vote no.
