What candy do you find most refreshing on a hot day?

I am looking for something that will not melt in the heat (like chocolate)

I am thinking of doing something silly at fair this year.

I am thinking of making little cards or bags or something and placing them for an individual during the fair day saying basically that they are doing a great job or I noticed something they did but not signing it. Hopefully I can get to every person without being caught.
But they might not find it immediately and it would be nice it the could enjoy it pretty much then and there.

So I might place the item on the King's throne 10 minutes before the joust would begin.

It will have to unobtrusive enough not to call a patron's attention and tempt them to take it as a souvenier?

Any ideas.

I was thinking of the lemon sour candies but those (although, I find them refreshing) do not send the happy face message lol.

  • Just hit me-M&M's would melt but not into a hot mess.
Oh! Do you have Wendy's there? they sell little free frosty coupons... that would be refreshing but not instant gratification...

  • Rock candy, in all different colors, kids love it, and it looks like jewels, so I am positive it would be a hit!
