Do you think I could make chili with creamed corn?

I have ground beef, creamed corn, black beans, chili seasoning and ketchup...

Do you think I should throw it all in the crockpot? Or is that a "won't work staci"?

  • My roommate in college use to make goulash with meat, beans, corn, elbows, chili powder and ketchup. It was actually good.

  • You could make a meatloaf with black beans and cream corn as sides. You could put the ketchup and BBQ sauce in the meatloaf.

  • Try it. You never know how something will taste until you try it. As for cooking, experimenting is what it's all about it. Have fun!!!

  • Do you have any other kind of canned tomatoes? Crushed? Diced? Whole stewed? I would NEVER put ketchup in chili.

  • ketchup would be a substitute for tomato paste, unless i find a jar in the pantry- don't necessarily have to use it. would probably squirt some bbq sauce in there too.

  • Yeah ketchup doesn't sound good in that. I would try corn, someone told me to try fresh green beans in my chilli and it was good.
