  • Call your doctor or pharmacist. What concerns me is that this information always is printed on the label. If it isn't, either the pharmacy is at fault or you are trying to give your child a medication that was NOT prescribed for him/her. I would never give my child an antibiotic that they weren't prescribed.

  • Your doctor should have told you when he prescribed it. He also should have written on the prescription for the pharmacy. The pharmacy should have printed the directions for use on the label they put on the bottle and or the box. Why don't you have this information?
