Would you mention a 2nd bd party if only inviting the class to one?

Doing a couple of b'day celebrations for DD at several locations on her day. The first is us taking her to Chuck E. Cheese w/ her cousins. Then going to another place near by to eat, etc. BTW she doesn't like the pizza which is why we're eating elsewhere. Her class was invited to the 2nd place with party invitations. We can't afford to get tokens for everyone in the class and really don't know how many will even come to the party. I wanted to mention the C.E.C. to allow the kids to play together outside of class/school. But want it clear that the parents are responsible for the child's tokens while there since the official party is later. Mention or not?? Thanks

  • I wouldn't.

  • No. IMO it will be taken as a part of the invitation.
I would also ask them to let you know if they will be coming to the dinner.

  • Nope. Just tell them about the party they are officially invited to, or you are begging for confusion and bad feelings with your child's class. Keep it simple. :)

  • I wouldn't. It would be too confusing.

  • No. There's no reason to say anything.

  • I wouldn't. We are doing a class lunch for his b-day his request and then a bowling party for family, but I didn't let him invite a few of his friends from school, but we can't afford to include his whole class.
