  • I buy them each a box of chocolates and a card. I put it on their bedside tables while they're asleep. I make them pink pancakes and pink eggs for breakfast and pink milk.

  • We're making a few crafts, baking some strawberry cake chocolate chip cookies, and I'm giving them some candy. I want to do something Valentine's day-related for dinner but haven't figured anything out yet.

  • I am making heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. For supper we will be having apples baked with red hot cinnamon candies as a side dish. For dessert I have a heart shaped cookie sheet that we always cook a big cookie on and decorate with icing. My kids look forward to these traditions every year.
For gifts, we go small - nail polish, stickers, an sd card for my 11 and 12 yo's - less than $20 plus some candy.
