What age is a puppy considered full grown? Or does it vary by breed?

  • Vaires by breed. Smaller breeds usually 1 year larger 2-3 years

  • grown to full height 1 year, adult dog 2 years. The think you might be thinking about is dog years vs. people years, and the rule of thumb is 1 year = 7 human years, but many dogs live longer (small breeds) and many dogs (large breeds) live shorter.

  • Varies by breed. I have yellow labs. They aren't considered adult dogs til three years old
