Do you agree with this?

Friends come and go and so do your kids but the women in the family will stay by you in all times.

Above is a message I received from my MIL.

I think your kids become adults and start their own lives, but that does not mean they no longer have a relationship with you.

  • Not really. My mom is selfish but, my kids are girls so, I guess they count as the "women" in my family.

    Was she drunk when she thought of it?I mean I guess it was well intentioned and she's saying she'll always be there for you. (Unless you think she's horrid in which case I'd take it as a threat). But it wasn't worded well.
