Would you continue to use these?

I have a set of pots (not cast iron) that were given to my granny when she married her 2nd husband in 1965. Just from browsing Ebay, the 3 pans are worth approximately $100 total. They're still great pots and I still use them, but maybe with them being considered antiques at this point I should put them away to accumulate value?

  • Use them. That way they will stay seasoned.

  • I'd still use them. Honestly 3 new pots could easily cost $100. And, since you'll probably never sell them, value wouldn't really matter, other than sentimental

  • No, use them. They may be antiques, but to just collect them doesn't do you much good. You might as well get some enjoyment out of them.

  • Good new pots cost more than that, so if they've already been used, there's no reason NOT to use them.

  • I have lots of antiques that are still in use at the farm. It is whatever makes you happy.

  • I would keep using them

  • You should use them, your grandmother would want you to use them instead of let them collect dust.

  • I would use them. Especially considering their age and how well seasoned they are by now.
