Does your teen do their own laundry? Their own ironing?

I did it all when they were teens because I happen to love doing laundry, but I should have gotten them into the habit of doing their own like my friend did with her kids. Those kids were doing all their own laundry by the time they were 11 or so.

First - I don't own an iron. So no one does that. But seeing how my 5 & 6 year olds do their on laundry, I can only imagine they will when they're teens.

All three of my kids did their own laundry when they were teens. My grandsons all know how to do their own laundry. They just don't like doing it. No ironing though.

Not laundry, but most of the time ironing.

When my daughter turned 12 she started doing her own laundry. I got tired of doing it all the time and her not care how many outfits she changes into in one day! Now she sees it. I have to say it is good for them and teaches them a lot!

My daughter only has the responsibility of cleaning her room and doing her own laundry, besides that i do everything else in the house!
