When you cook dinner do you make it truly homemade or from the box/jar?

Sometimes it is a combination. I don't have the time or the energy to make my own pasta. I don't buy stuff like hamburger helper or pre-boxed meals on a regular basis. I did however pick up a few frozen meals (haven't used any in 9 mos) b/c my SO and I are SO SO sick and after working, HS, and taking care of the kids ALL day I can barely stand to put dinner together--even from the microwave.

half n half depending on what it is. Sometimes the meat part will be completely homemade and I will use a box of rice a roni. When I make my bolognese(spaghetti sauce) it cooks all day and I make my own pasta instead of using the boxed variety. If I make carnitas or tacos I use store bought tortillas. I am very Semi-Homemade

Noodles, rice and tomato sauce - I buy canned or boxed. Everything else I cook from fresh.

Usually it is a combination. I will end up with at least one canned or boxed or bottled item in a dinner but I when use those items they are 'all natural' when possible. Now we do eat breakfast cereal and cereal bars and what not but again I try to keep the ingredients pronounceable.

I'm combined as well.

Generally from scratch, I will not say that Ido not use cans, jars and boxes sometimes.
