  • I am all for it. Mt brothers were kicked out after they found out they were active LDS members

  • Yes, please lift it. Its one of those totally stupid things in life. For two reasons: One, it's needless, and pointless. We do not have to protect ourselves from gays like they are harmful in some way. Let them join and let them be gay... openly or quietly. And, two, its one of those totally stupid bans you can't enforce so why have it? It's not like a gay person wears a big old G on their forehead or something. I bet there's been a zillion gays in the boy scouts already, and all these narrow minded people having been sitting back thinking "well we're safe, we banned them!" Yeah, right. Joke's on them...

  • it wont change my opinion of the organization so honestly i dont care what they do. they're are reasons beyond excluding gays that keep me from wanting my son in it.

  • While it may be a step forward if I had a son they still wouldn't join it. I'll be very surprised if they do. Either way they will receive creatisim for their decision.

  • They still won't allow atheists into it.
They are the worst of the worst in their bigotry. Despicable, really.

  • I have never put a religious affiliation on our registration forms and we haven't been questioned or kicked out. DS has had fellow scouts of several different faiths. I suppose that is probably a unit type decision as well.
