  • no idea my sisters husband has a high profile job in the town and she had past debts that she didn't take care of, and she has been working on it, but not fast enough apparently so one company is taking her to court. She called and they have settled on a payment plan, but she got the court paperwork today and She didn't want to damamge her husbands name if it went in the paper

  • Depends on where you live. If you are in a really small town, they may use court dockets for space-filler. Also, some places the law allows you to obtain service by legal announcement - meaning instead of the sheriff or a private process server bringing legal papers to your door, they can post a legal announcement instead.
