Do your kids forget their things or lose their things a lot?

My son has forgotten his lunchbox twice this week, and today he says he thinks he lost it completely. He forgot his assignment planner on the kitchen counter yesterday. I practically have to go through a big list of stuff every day "Do you have your socks? Do you have your homework?" and so on.

  • YES! My daughter is so forgetful.. with homework, leaving jackets at school, projects... it really is aggravating after reminding her a million times.

and no, she does not forget things
she has memory like a steal trap

  • fiat, this is my son who is on the spectrum. He has a great memory for a lot of random information, but his mind is so all over the place, he loses stuff.

  • my son does not forget things. he remebers quite well. idk if it's because i so very often start directing his attention to sthg, later jump to another topic, but a minute later finish my first thought. worth trying

  • JJK- before I saw your response to Paxy I would have asked if the kid was ADD
That was part of my kid's diagnostics.
They would literally step over their book bag to get out the door...
