Do your kids forget their things or lose their things a lot?

My son has forgotten his lunchbox twice this week, and today he says he thinks he lost it completely. He forgot his assignment planner on the kitchen counter yesterday. I practically have to go through a big list of stuff every day "Do you have your socks? Do you have your homework?" and so on.

YES! My daughter is so forgetful.. with homework, leaving jackets at school, projects... it really is aggravating after reminding her a million times.

Yes He has forgotten his homework folder at home and his snack/lunchbox thank goodness we life 2 minutes away from his school.

and no, she does not forget things
she has memory like a steal trap
(part of autism)

however 5.5 still plenty of time to become forgetful

fiat, this is my son who is on the spectrum. He has a great memory for a lot of random information, but his mind is so all over the place, he loses stuff.

my son does not forget things. he remebers quite well. idk if it's because i so very often start directing his attention to sthg, later jump to another topic, but a minute later finish my first thought. worth trying

My granddaughter is always losing her glasses. Most of the time they are either in her desk or her back pack! LOL!

JJK- before I saw your response to Paxy I would have asked if the kid was ADD
That was part of my kid's diagnostics.
They would literally step over their book bag to get out the door...
