Cooking fish. Skin on or off?

I don't love fish and especially the skin/brown stuff on the bottom. Dh says you have to cook it with the skin cause it seals in flavor. What do you ladies do with your fish?

  • I cook with the skin on. Searing the skin in a pan before baking. then when the fish is done the meat comes right off the skin.

  • I cook it to the point where I can peel the skin off, then off it goes...I do not like my fish to really have that fishy taste...

  • The only fish we prepare is Halibut. DH leaves the skin on, covers it with lemon and lime and onion. Wraps in foil and BBQS.
    Taste delicious!
