MY phones not working What to do????????????

I have a cell phone its not working i cant make any calls im with US cellular though. it just keeps saying searching for service ill have service for like a minute and then the service will go away. i can text but it barely ever goes through if i do. i cant even listen to my voice mail whenever i type my code in the voice is all staticey. ive tried taking the battery out and letting it sit but that doesnt work. my mom wont let me call us cellular on her phone because im getting a new phone in like two weeks but i need to call someone and im not allowed to use any other phone except this one. i didn't drop it in water either. WHAT is wrong with my phone does anyone know????
