Is it safe for me

to use my elliptical trainer  30 minutes a day while pregnant? Im in the 1st trimester and I was wondering if its okay? I want to stay active and I enjoy doing the elliptical

  • Generally, as long as you are healthy, then most things you did before are ok now. You should check with your doctor and make sure. Don't overdo anything!

    Usually safe to keep on the exercise regimen you had before pregnancy- pending it does not involve contact sports or intense heart rates

  • Before you make a decision like that I would just run that thru your OBGYN to make sure it's okay...I am sure it is, but check to be safe

  • Were you using it before?
    Talk to your doctor first, but generally, anything you were doing before is fine. This isn't really the time to start a NEW exercise regimen.
